Etihad Airways has partnered with Be Relax to offer round-the-clock massages within the Etihad Lounge at Zayed International airport. Olivia Palamountain reports
A new collaboration between Etihad Airways and airport spa brand, Be Relax, introduces a unique wellness experience for passengers transiting through Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International airport (AUH).
Situated in the recently inaugurated Terminal A, the spa is accessible to both Etihad Lounge guests and all passing travellers, without the need for advance booking or exclusive membership.
This innovative approach aligns with the shared vision of Be Relax and Etihad Airways to integrate wellness into the core of the travel experience.
Turky Al Hammadi, director of product and hospitality at Etihad Airways, says: “Whether departing from Abu Dhabi or connecting between two flights, we’re delighted to welcome our guests to enjoy the Be Relax Spa located at our premium Lounge. The services are flexibly timed to allow our guests to make the most of their time at the airport and arrive at their destination feeling relaxed and refreshed.”
The spa’s offerings are further enhanced through exclusive partnerships with luxury skincare brand Valmont and Italian brand Philip Martin’s, known for its olfactive expertise.
Travellers can indulge in a range of services including Be Relax’s signature chair massages, full-body massages, hair and nail care, barber services, Experience Showers by Bodyful, and Sophrology sessions (a mental wellbeing practice combining relaxation, breathing, gentle movement, meditation and visualisation).
For Etihad’s most discerning passengers, those flying in The Residence and First class cabins can enjoy a complimentary spa service, while all guests are invited to utilise the facilities during their journey.
