Sha Emirates by Sha Wellness is an island community where residents can indulge in optimising their health and wellbeing at every turn. Jess Hipgrave reports
Sha Wellness Clinic is launching Sha Emirates, a wellness-centric residential community on an island in AIJurf, the “Riviera of the Emirates”.
Located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the island will house luxury beachfront residences integrated with sustainable elements, created by Abu Dhabi-based development partner Imkan.
Sha Emirates will comprise 86 villas, 49 apartments and two penthouses, plus a host of spaces where residents can enjoy bespoke wellness programs, holistic experiences and innovative medical treatments.
The private coastal oasis features plenty of greenery and white sand beaches that are only accessible to residents and guests.
This haven was chosen due to its access to nature, sea and warm climate. It is said to be the ideal environment to “connect with and prioritise health and wellbeing.”
The wellness clinic will provide services for residents available around the clock, from doctors, therapists and yoga and meditation instructors to chefs who specialise in healthy cooking and personal trainers.
Co-founder and vice president of the Sha Wellness Clinic, Alejandro Bataller wants to make it possible for “more people to benefit from our philosophy of integrative health and wellbeing.”
He says that the location is the “perfect natural environment” to create the world’s first healthy living island.
The island was created through thoughtful orientation, minimising energy consumption through energy-efficient appliances and solar-powered heating which underscores their dedication to sustainability and to pay homage to the location.

Sales of residences commenced from April 2024 and purchase will be available by application only with an anticipated completion date of 2026.
