A queer cruise to Antarctica sets sail next year, bringing the colours of Pride to the white continent for the first time. Olivia Palamountain reports

Gay-owned and operated Australian travel agency, Planetdwellers, has unveiled plans for a pioneering Antarctica Pride Cruise, set to embark in February 2025.

Designed to celebrate the queer community in one of the world’s most remote destinations, the speciality sailing will take place aboard Aurora ExpeditionsGreg Mortimer, a small expedition ship accommodating just over 100 passengers.

The vessel has spacious cabins and combines luxury with environmental sustainability, featuring amenities including a gym, sauna and jacuzzis. Bookings for the Antarctica Pride Cruise are expected to open soon. Cabins start from US$9,850.00 per person.Antarctica Pride Cruise
