The Domus Stay platform aims to bridge the gap between a luxury hotel and a short-term rental, unlocking London’s “most outstanding” homes with the addition of a personalised five-star concierge service.
Launched in the UK this spring by property agent Domus Nova, the brand intends to extend its property portfolio to European hotspots by the end of 2021.
All of the homes on Domus Stay have been chosen for their unique, design-led attributes and vibey neighbourhood locations, so there is a level of curation that you might not find on Airbnb, for example. Prices range from £300 to £4,000 a night.
Domus clients also benefit from bespoke itineraries, plus a “dedicated guest services specialist, committed to fulfilling every request, however big or small” – think entertainment and spa treatments, to everyday essentials such as housekeeping and scheduled travel.
How does the service work for homeowners? Domus Stay looks after every home as if it were their own, ensuring peace of mind, convenience and flexibility. From discreet guest verification and housekeeping and maintenance services, to marketing and payments, everything is taken care of.
“Their specialised attention to detail emphasises privacy, security, access and convenience, which really sets us apart. Their bespoke management of the property, adding all the homely touches and customisation, is also to a level not seen in short term rentals before.
“We’re very excited to welcome our first guests and offer an important new and differentiated voice to London’s luxury arena.”
Exclusive access currently on offer includes a “day of discovery with the ‘Queen of Thrift’ Bay Garnett”, exploring London’s best vintage shopping spots, a private lesson in country pursuits with Holland & Holland (including British sparkling wine on arrival and use of their renowned equipment), plus and an arts workshop (at home or in-studio) with illustrator John Booth, well-known for his work with Paul Smith and FENDI.
Additionally, while health and safety remains paramount for travellers, guests will receive bespoke face masks designed by west London’s premier female tailor, Caroline Andew. Private shopping and personal tailoring consultations are also available.
Domus Stay is not the first branded service rental company on the Globetrender radar. Launched in 2016, Ultima Collection is a portfolio of premium market of property rentals, private residences and chalets, upgraded with Ultima Signature Services, so guests can be sure of the same high standards at every property.
From hyper personalisation to remote working in style, Globetrender speaks with Ultima Collection managing partner Michala Chatel about what lies ahead for elite travellers here.
