Not just for kids, the forthcoming Siyam World, Maldives, which will be unveiled at the end of October 2021, has designed an ambitious floating water park in the sea, which spells out the name of the resort.Siyam Water WorldThe 2,580 sqm course has been designed by German SportsPark innovators Wibit Sports, and has been described in a statement from Siyam World as being a “fun-soaked fantasia featuring an array of inflatable obstacles”.

Located in Siyam World’s north-east lagoon, Siyam Water World is essentially a floating obstacle course for guests over the age of six to run and scramble around.Siyam Water WorldThe resort says: “Linked by banked curves and treacherous bridges, the slippery circuit includes halfpipes, slides, a climbing tower and a 3.2-metre springboard – not to mention ‘Flip’, the first free-floating human catapult on the water.”Siyam Water WorldSiyam World places hedonism at the heart of its operations – not only is it a 24-hour “premium all-inclusive” proposition, but there are grand beach barbecues, Maldivian food carts, dance shows, pool parties, group wellness sessions, sunset cruises and snorkeling safaris.

Siyam World says it is an “all-embracing five-star all-inclusive island resort that offers fun-loving, open-minded couples, romance seekers, families or larger groups of friends the freedom to roam, socialise and engage in an island community”.

Siyam World has 21 accommodation categories ranging from 89 sqm rooms to 3,000 sqm beach villas with up to six bedrooms. There are even over-water villas with water slides.

The resort is positioned on the popular Noonu Atoll, 40 minutes’ direct seaplane ride from Velana International airport, and also accessible via a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru airport followed by a ten-minute speedboat trip.
