Luxury hospitality company, Inspirato, has launched a subscription-based service that enables frequent flyers to travel as much as they like without paying nightly hotel rates. Anthony Pearce reports
Inspirato is introducing a new membership scheme that capitalises on its access to private destination partners. In a similar way to how ClassPass offers unlimited fitness classes and SurfAir provides endless private jet flights from US$1,950 per month, Inspirato Pass subscribers get unlimited access to more than 60,000 vacation homes, hotels and resorts around the world for a flat fee of US$2,500 a month.
How does it work? Aimed at frequent high-end travellers, Inspirato Pass holders pick an available trip or property from a list of more than 150 locations from its website. The subscription allows them to select their next reservation once they check out, with the list of trips and properties updating daily.
Membership includes access to five-star hotel rooms and suites, Inspirato luxury homes, and exclusive Inspirato Only experiences such as European cruises, African safaris and sporting events.
Each trip also benefits from Inspirato’s “travel specialists” who can help with bookings, plan itineraries, and assist with other requests.
For an extra US$500 per pass, guests can unlock unlimited sharing privileges, allowing friends and family to book a trip. However, the US$2,500-a-month rate doesn’t cover flight costs, rental cars or dining.

Inspirato says its Pass scheme is nearly five years in the making, describing it “the answer to everyone’s travel needs”.
“Whether it’s empty nesters checking off their bucket list with a ten-day New Zealand adventure; multi-generational families checking into a five-bedroom villa for a week-long vacation in Tuscany, or business travellers booking luxury hotel rooms in the world’s best cities, Inspirato Pass will transform the way people travel,” its website states.
Inspirato isn’t the first travel company to launch a subscription service. Earlier in the year, BeRightBack, or BRB, announced a subscription service for city breaks aimed at a more mass-market audience.
With the service, UK-based travellers pay a monthly fee and then head on a city break every four months. All trips start from a London airport.
BeRightBack charges for £49.99 per month for solos, or £89.99 per month for couples.
